Domaine David & Duvallet

France

Domaine David & Duvallet is a family-owned estate in Vallet, in the Pays Nantais of the Loire Valley, founded in 1927 and now run by Stéphane David, the founder’s great-grandson, and Sébastien Duvallet. The estate farms vines for Muscadet Sèvre et Maine alongside Cabernet Franc, Folle Blanche and rosé plantings, on clay-limestone soils and mica-schist subsoil. Its vineyard management is based on observation of the vines, and the domaine has been certified organic since 2024, following a period of conversion. The wines include a Muscadet “DéKalé” parcel and reflect a focused, family-run approach to the region’s varieties.
