Domaine Changarnier is a family-owned estate in Monthelie, Côte de Beaune, with the Changarnier family established in the area for several centuries. Today, Fabrice Groussin manages the domaine, applying organic and biodynamic vineyard methods, with Ecocert AB certification reported since 2019. The fragmented vineyards cover around five hectares across Monthelie, Meursault, Auxey-Duresses and Pommard, producing wines from numerous appellations. Vineyard work emphasizes soil life, ploughing, organic amendments and minimal inputs; grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted. In the cellar, élevage is generally carried out in barrel with restrained use of new oak. The wines are described as pure, fresh and terroir-focused, with balanced, energetic reds marked by crunchy fruit and measured extraction, and whites combining tension, freshness and flesh.
