Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet is a family-owned Burgundy estate based in Fixin, with roots stretching back to the late 18th century and at least seven generations. Since 2013, Amélie Berthaut-Gerbet, an agronomist-oenologist, has led the domaine after bringing together vineyards from the Berthaut and Gerbet families; her husband Nicolas Faure joined in 2017 to manage the vines and work in the cellar. Their holdings span Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée and nearby villages. Farming follows sustainable, organic-leaning lutte raisonnée, without herbicides or pesticides, and the wines are made in a natural, non-interventionist style focused on finesse, precision and silkier tannins.
