Producer

Di Lenardo

Italy

Family-owned Di Lenardo, led by Massimo Di Lenardo, is based in Ontagnano in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and produces Friuli DOC wines. The family has cultivated vines since the early 1800s, with the estate founded in 1878. Its own vineyards span three sites—Vigne da Vieris, Vigne da San Martin and Vigne da Lis Maris—on clay and gravel soils at around 20 metres elevation. The winery emphasizes refined vineyard techniques, high-density planting and a quality-to-price philosophy. Whites are made with temperature-controlled stainless-steel fermentation, partial malolactic fermentation and vacuum bottling. Its Tocai Friulano has received the OSCA prize annually since 1991, alongside strong recognition in the Veronelli Guide. The experimental ONE SHOT project reflects a creative approach, developing new ideas and changing artist-designed labels each year.
