Château Pont de Brion is a family-owned Graves estate in Langon, south of Bordeaux, founded in 1931 and now managed by Charlotte, the fifth generation of independent winemakers. Its vineyard is tended parcel by parcel, with meticulous pruning, de-budding, thinning and leaf-trimming, natural fertilizers when needed, and soil work to control weeds and limit erosion. The estate follows a respectful approach to nature, without stated organic or biodynamic certification. In the cellar, traditional appellation methods are adapted to each vintage, with fermentation, maceration and maturation adjusted to the character of the grapes and the year. This continuity across generations and hands-on, vintage-sensitive approach define its Graves wines.
