Château Lafite Rothschild is a historic, family-owned Premier Cru Classé estate in Pauillac, Bordeaux, owned by the Rothschild family since 1868 and now in its sixth generation. It is part of the Domaines Barons de Rothschild group, a global family of estates. The property cultivates 112 hectares of vines and produces approximately 35,000 cases annually. A core commitment to sustainability is demonstrated through B Corp certification, organic conversion, biodynamic practices on 16 hectares, and extensive biodiversity and energy-saving measures, including a Natura 2000 protected woodland. The estate is led by CEO Saskia de Rothschild and technical director Eric Kohler.
