Château La Tour Haut-Brion

France

Château La Tour Haut-Brion is a historic Pessac-Léognan estate in Talence, on classic Graves gravel soils, with vineyard origins dating back to the 16th century. Owned by Domaine Clarence Dillon, it was a small classified growth whose fruit was vinified in the cellars of Château La Mission Haut-Brion under the oversight of Jean-Bernard Delmas. Planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the estate produced boutique-scale wines until the label was discontinued after the 2005 vintage, after which the fruit was absorbed into La Mission Haut-Brion. Notes also indicate the wider Dillon group holds HVE and ISO 14001 certifications.
