Château Bel Orme Tronquoy de Lalande

France

Château Bel Orme Tronquoy de Lalande is a family-owned Haut-Médoc estate in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, acquired by the Quié family in 1936 and now managed by its third generation. Its clay, gravelly sand and deep gravel soils support a 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon blend, combining round, vivid fruit with ripe, velvety structure. The estate follows the Natura 2000 Charter and practices environmentally respectful farming, including mechanical soil work or grass cover, Poussard pruning, manual cluster repositioning and leaf thinning before hand harvest. Hedges, woodlands and meadows help preserve biodiversity, while local cattle breeders provide natural manure. Vinification takes place in concrete vats, with aging in French oak barrels.
