Chanson

France

Founded in 1750, Domaine Chanson is a historic Beaune estate in Burgundy, owned by Bollinger since 1999, with vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. It works both as a domaine and a négociant, with winemaking led by Jean-Pierre Confuron and later notes highlighting Lucy Auger as chef de cave. Farming is HVE-certified and the estate completed its organic conversion in 2024, reflecting a long-term focus on soil and biodiversity. Chanson is known for plot-by-plot viticulture and vinification, careful cellar work, and élevage in its 15th-century Bastion in Beaune, balancing historic identity with modern tools such as a gravity-fed winery.
