Cantina di Solopaca

Italy

Founded in 1966 in Solopaca, Campania, Cantina di Solopaca is a long-established cooperative owned by around 600 local winegrowers. Its vineyards extend across Solopaca and 16 neighboring municipalities in the historic Sannio area, where traditional varieties include Falanghina, Aglianico, Greco, Fiano, Coda di Volpe and Barbera. The cooperative was created by 25 growers to strengthen local producers’ economic and professional position, and has helped advance Sannio viticulture, including the development of Solopaca DOC. Grapes are traditionally harvested and carefully selected before being processed in a modern winery equipped for bottling, red-wine ageing and sparkling production. The winery combines regional identity and collective commitment with contemporary winemaking technology.
