Alain Patriarche

France

Alain Patriarche is a family-run domaine in Meursault, Burgundy, with several generations of viticultural history in the commune. The estate farms sustainably with low-intervention methods, including hand harvesting and native yeasts. Wines are vinified separately by climat and parcel to express terroir: Chardonnay whites are fermented and aged on lees in oak, while Pinot Noir reds undergo careful sorting, maceration, and barrel aging. Bottling involves minimal fining and filtration. Led by the Patriarche family, including Alain, Marc, and the next generation, the domaine combines a strong attachment to Meursault with hands-on, traditional winemaking and limited production.
