Zenato

Italy

Zenato is a family-owned winery founded in 1960 by Sergio and Carla Zenato in Veneto, Italy. With around 95 hectares of vineyards across the Lugana (Santa Cristina estate) and Valpolicella Classica (Costalunga estate) regions, plus a small parcel in Bolgheri, it produces approximately 2.7 million bottles annually. Now led by the second generation—Alberto oversees production and Nadia handles sales—the winery emphasizes a deep connection to its terroir, focusing on native varieties like Trebbiano di Lugana, Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta. Committed to sustainability, Zenato holds EQUALITAS certification, employs organic and biodynamic practices on selected parcels, and promotes biodiversity through initiatives like 'Bee Our Friend'. The family's philosophy centers on transforming the land into expressive wines, supported by cultural projects such as the Zenato Academy.
