Wakefield is a family-owned winery in South Australia’s Clare Valley, founded by the Taylor family in 1969. Now managed by three Taylor brothers, with Justin Taylor as winemaker, it remains grounded in hands-on family involvement, respect for the land and time-honoured techniques. The family’s Auburn estate is central to its work, including the flagship St. Andrews wines sourced from original 1969 vineyard plantings, alongside a broad range of Clare Valley and South Australian reds and whites. Wakefield also highlights sustainability through its partnership with Project Seahorse, supporting seahorse conservation and ocean protection.
