Tenuta del Melo is a family-run estate in Piedmont, owned by the Rossi Cairo family and managed day to day by Annalisa and Michele Scienza. Its vineyards are planted primarily to Cortese and Barbera, with viticulture based on certified organic practices. The estate avoids chemicals in the vineyards and cellar, maintains turfed rows to support root oxygenation, and builds fertility with fermented manure, minerals and herbs. This hands-on approach reflects a strong commitment to sustainable, quality-focused agriculture.
