Stroppolatini is a historic family estate in Cividale del Friuli, in the Colli Orientali hills, with origins in the early 1800s. Its vineyards are planted on terraces across two estate hills. On the historic hill, the family has preserved old Friulano and Merlot vines, some more than 160 years old, alongside Refosco and Cabernet Franc. The newer “dei Castagni” hill is dedicated to native red varieties including Schioppettino and Pignolo, as well as Sauvignon. The restored manor house and farm complex now include a Bed & Breakfast, tasting spaces, and a traditional frasca. Recent plans include building renovation without additional land consumption and the installation of renewable-energy systems.
