Spagnol is a family-owned estate in Colbertaldo di Vidor, in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG zone, where the family has cultivated vineyards since the early 1900s. The Spagnols work exclusively with their own grapes from hillside vineyards in Saccol, San Pietro di Feletto, Solighetto, Collalto and Farra di Soligo. Vineyard work is carried out manually under agronomist supervision, while brothers Stefano and Marco oversee winemaking as the estate’s oenologists. The family manages the full process internally, from cultivation and vinification—including Martinotti-method sparkling production—to aging and bottling. Their Col del Sas vineyard is central to the family’s history and brand, while a historic Solighetto site is linked to the Prosecco Balbi clone. They are also pursuing mass selection with universities and research centers to preserve old vine material and support biodiversity.
