Marques de Lara is a Vinho Verde sub-brand of Casa de Vila Nova, a family-owned estate in Minho held by the Lencastre lineage since the 12th century. The current generation manages the estate’s vineyards and has established its own bottling and winemaking facilities, producing a focused portfolio of around ten wines. The winery combines this long family history with a modern approach, including extensive vine replanting. No sustainability certifications or eco-labels are reported.
