Cape South Coast Chardonnay

Lismore Estate is based in Greyton, in South Africa’s Western Cape. Proprietor and lead winemaker Samantha O’Keefe, originally from California, built the winery and released its first vintage in 2006. The estate draws on its own vineyards as well as fruit from Elgin and Stamford. O’Keefe works with assistant winemaker Adele Botha, while Andrea Mullineux, Alex Starey, Johan Reyneke and Alex Dale helped replant and rebuild following the 2023 wildfire. O’Keefe’s leadership of the Cape Winemakers Guild reflects her standing in the South African wine community. No sustainability certifications are noted.
