Producer

Guillaume Chanudet

France

Guillaume Chanudet runs a fifth-generation, family-owned domaine in Fleurie, Beaujolais, with vineyards held by the Chanudet family since 1920. He is directly involved as owner, farmer, and vineyard manager, and also manages a graft nursery. The estate farms parcels in Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent using organic-style, low-intervention practices without chemical fertilizers; the vineyards include massal-selected vines and pink granite soils. In the cellar, traditional semi-carbonic maceration takes place in raw concrete vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in stainless steel or small old oak foudres. The resulting wines reflect an artisanal approach rooted in family continuity and hands-on vineyard work.
