Grignano is a family-led Tuscan estate, acquired by the Inghirami family in the 1970s and currently directed by Tommaso Inghirami. Its vineyards, planted on southern exposures with limestone- and galestro-rich soils, are certified organic and have been farmed organically since 2008, reflecting the estate’s strong commitment to sustainability. The range includes traditional Tuscan varieties such as Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia del Chianti, alongside international grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. Winemaking takes place in temperature-controlled facilities, with the estate’s cellar infrastructure expanded following the acquisition of Pievecchia Winery in 1999.
