Domaine Gérard Raphet is a fourth-generation family estate in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, run by Gérard Raphet with his daughter Marion, who now leads much of the vineyard and cellar work. The domaine farms predominantly organically, with manual vineyard work, hand harvests, and only limited chemical intervention in extreme conditions. Old vines are a defining feature, including many very old parcels. In the cellar, the approach is traditional and low-intervention: indigenous-yeast fermentations, élevage in French oak, hand bottling, and no filtration. The estate includes notable holdings in Grand Cru sites such as Clos de Vougeot and Clos de la Roche, and the wines are described as handcrafted and small-scale.
