2023 · Old Vines Garnacha

Evodia is a small boutique producer in Calatayud, Aragón, focused on old-vine Garnacha from steep, high-altitude vineyards. The 40- to 100-year-old vines grow sustainably at around 800–1,000 metres on slate and quartzite over clay. A partnership between Eric Solomon, Yolanda Diaz and Jean-Marc Lafage, the estate follows a minimal-intervention approach, using concrete vessels to express the character of its mountain sites. Its wines have received strong critical recognition, including scores above 90 from Wine Advocate and 91 from Jeb Dunnuck.
