Domaine la Vigne des Pères

France

Domaine la Vigne des Pères is a small, founder-run estate in the Rhône Valley, owned and operated by Aymeric Paillard, who settled in Tournon in 2011. Farming is organic, certified since 2019, with vines worked by hand and horse, cover crops, and no synthetic intrants. The domaine’s Saint-Joseph and Cornas vineyards sit on granite, quartz, and gneiss soils, with vines around 30 years old. In the cellar, Paillard follows a natural, minimal-intervention approach, using whole-cluster fermentation, semi-carbonic maceration, low sulfite additions, and no fining or filtration.
