Domaine Coudert’s Clos de la Roilette is a family-owned estate in Fleurie, Beaujolais, purchased by Fernand Coudert in 1967 and now run by his son Alain, winemaker since 1984. Its granite-rich vineyards include old vines and are farmed organically or sustainably, with all vineyard work and harvesting done by hand. The wines are made traditionally, using semi-carbonic fermentation, native yeasts, minimal sulfur, and maturation in large, old oak foudres. An additional parcel on the Moulin-à-Vent hill was added for the 2022 vintage.
