Château Larrivet Haut-Brion

France

Château Larrivet Haut-Brion is a family-owned estate in Pessac-Léognan, run by the Gervoson family since 1987, with a second generation now involved. The estate combines traditional know-how with a creative, modern approach, using vessels such as concrete egg-shaped tanks for whites and Tuscan terracotta jars. Winemaking is led by Bruno Lemoine with support from Patrick Meraz and consultants Michel Rolland and Stéphane Derenoncourt. Sustainability is highlighted by High Environmental Value certification, vitiforestry, and a biodiversity park with ponds and set-aside plantings. The property also created the Jardin Millésimé, a garden dedicated to the world of wine.
