Château de Manissy

France

Château de Manissy is a historic Southern Rhône estate in the Tavel area, with roots dating to the 17th century. Managed by Florian André since 2003, the domaine works with organic and biodynamic viticulture, certified AB from 2009 and Demeter, with the full vineyard farmed biodynamically since 2018. Its Grenache-dominant vines include parcels dating back to 1914, and the estate farms across Tavel, Lirac, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. Historical ties include stewardship by monks in the 20th century, while notes also mention the maternal side of the winemaker’s family having managed the vines for six generations. The wines are noted for finesse and freshness.
