Château Clarisse is a family-owned estate in Puisseguin, Saint-Émilion, founded in 2009 by Didier and Olivia Le Calvez and named after their daughter. Based on clay-limestone soils rich in Asteria limestone, the property has pursued sustainable farming from the outset, gaining organic certification in 2019 and also holding Demeter and Biodyvin biodynamic credentials. The estate places strong emphasis on biodiversity, with woodland restoration, hedgerow planting, agroforestry, beehives, and other soil- and ecosystem-focused work. Winemaking is overseen by consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt, with Tiphanie Ballateau as cellar manager and winemaker. Its wines have also earned recognition in several French wine guides and competitions.
