Château Bourgneuf

France

Château Bourgneuf is a historic Pomerol estate in Bordeaux, family-owned by the Vayrons since the early 19th century and currently held by Dominique and Xavier Vayron. The estate is managed under the Etablissements Jean-Pierre Moueix owner-farmer model, while winemaking has been led by Frédérique Vayron since the 2008 vintage. Its vineyards are planted predominantly to Merlot with Cabernet Franc, and the vine age includes mature plantings with some parcels over 70 years old. The profile is that of a long-established, family-rooted Right Bank property with continuity of ownership and hands-on stewardship. No sustainability certifications are disclosed.
