Cantine De Falco is a family-owned winery in Novoli, near Lecce, with roots in Salento dating to 1944 and a winery founded in 1949. Salvatore De Falco and his son Gabriele continue the family’s work, overseeing production from vineyards in Lecce, Brindisi, and Taranto. The estate focuses on regional varieties including Negroamaro, Primitivo, Susumaniello, Verdeca, and Fiano, as well as Salice Salentino and Squinzano. The family combines traditional winemaking with innovative technology, aiming to preserve the natural character imparted by Salento’s land and sun. They report using the minimum possible treatments in the vineyards. Production includes wines across several ranges, with barrel ageing, tastings, and direct sales offered at the winery.
