Weingut Ernst is a family-run estate in Deutschkreutz, Burgenland, founded in 2005 and led by Bernhard and Sylvia Ernst alongside the Triebaumer family. Its philosophy is rooted in origin and terroir, with Blaufränkisch from the Hochberg, Goldberg and Fabian sites at the centre. The wines are complex, dense and structured, with notable aging potential; French-inspired red cuvées Zion and La Mission complement the range. Farming is biological and sustainable, with hand harvesting, greening, grazing, natural yeasts and unfiltered, low-intervention wines. White wines come from vines up to 60 years old. Bernhard Ernst combines careful, patient manual work with a passion for cooking and food pairing.
