France

Vins Lapalus Maurice et Fils is a three-generation family domaine based in Pierreclos, in southern Burgundy’s Mâconnais. The estate farms its vineyards with an emphasis on environmental responsibility and has been certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) since 2015. Grass cover, limited phytosanitary treatments and plot-specific work reflect its respect for natural balance, while Guyot pruning is adapted to Gamay and Chardonnay. Christophe Lapalus oversees the winemaking, combining traditional Burgundian methods with modern equipment such as pneumatic pressing and temperature control. Harvests may be manual or mechanical, and parcels are vinified separately. The domaine produces Mâcon-Pierreclos whites and reds, alongside Pouilly-Fuissé and Crémant de Bourgogne, with an authentic focus on terroir and continuity between generations.
