Vincent Caillé runs the family-owned Le Fay d’Homme estate in Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, Loire Valley, with the Caillé family’s involvement spanning five generations. He has managed the vineyards since 1986, overseeing the process from vineyard to bottle. Farming has been organic since 1996 and certified biodynamic since 2012, with a holistic approach focused on biodiversity. The estate’s gneiss, gabbro and orthogneiss soils support wines made with indigenous yeasts and extended lees aging, emphasizing purity and precision.
