Sposato Family Vineyards is a family-owned project in Alto Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, founded and operated by former educators Tony Sposato and Karen Howard Sposato. In 2013, they acquired virgin land at 1,050 metres above sea level, where alluvial, gravelly soils and warm days with cold nights shape the vineyards. The estate grows Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Bonarda, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc. Wines are produced in a preserved 1940 cellar in Godoy Cruz, combining period architecture with modern technology. The team includes winemakers Fernanda González and Lucas Richardi, agronomist Federico Maiocchi and operations director Eduardo Nogal. The wines reflect the family’s perseverance and dedication to Mendoza’s terroir.
