Santa Cristina is a Tuscan wine label owned by the historic Marchesi Antinori family. The estate covers over 100 hectares in the Cortona area, with vineyards planted mainly to Sangiovese and international varieties like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It follows Antinori's sustainability standards, though specific certifications are not detailed. The winemaking team includes Filippo Bezzi, Fabrizio Balzi, and Beppe Rigoli. In a separate ownership, the Santa Cristina Tuscany wine is produced by Fattoria Ambra, part of the Romei Rigoli family estate owned since 1870. This estate yields about 85,000 bottles annually, with vineyards at 5,500 vines per hectare. It is moving toward full organic certification—already organic for Barco Reale di Carmignano—and carries additional sustainability labels like biodynamic and regenerative. Winemaking here is led by Beppe Rigoli, assisted by cellar master Fabio and nephew Guido.
