Founded in 1999 by Eben Sadie, The Sadie Family is a family-owned producer in South Africa’s Swartland, with Sadie remaining owner and chief winemaker. The estate focuses on responsible agriculture, low yields and respect for terroir, with an off-grid winery and plantings of heat- and drought-resistant varieties reflecting its long-term environmental stewardship. Eben Sadie and his family run the operation, with Paul Jordaan taking over winemaking duties in 2020.
