Rocche Costamagna is a historic, family-run estate in La Morra, Piedmont, founded in 1841 and now led by fourth-generation winemaker Alessandro Locatelli. With about 14 hectares of vineyards, including the prized Rocche dell’Annunziata cru cultivated for over two centuries, the estate focuses on sustainable viticulture with minimal chemical use and grass cover. Winemaking is traditional and hands-on, featuring long macerations and aging in large Slavonian oak casks for Barolo, aiming to express the elegant, terroir-driven character of La Morra. The estate also embraces cultural and hospitality initiatives, offering restored Napoleonic-era cellars and guest suites.
