Primordial Soup is a boutique label produced by Boutinot South Africa in the Western Cape, using 100% old bush vines from Swartland’s sandy-granitic soils. The vineyards are unirrigated and hand-harvested, with naturally low yields and minimal crop control. Wines are made in small batches with a vegetarian- and vegan-friendly approach. The winemaking team is led by Ryno Booysen and JD Rossouw, supported by Pierre Louw and Samantha Bailey.
