Domaine Paul Kubler is a family estate in Soultzmatt, at the heart of Alsace’s Vallée Noble, with roots dating to 1620. Its “garden of vines” is cultivated with precision across varied sandstone, limestone and alluvial soils, using plant-based treatments, traditional ploughing and a draft horse in the Grand Cru Zinnkoepfle. Harvesting is manual, while winemaking combines traditional methods such as fermentation in large oak casks and lees ageing with modern techniques. The estate produces fruit wines, terroir wines from Zinnkoepfle, Breitenberg and Weingarten, and sweet Vendanges Tardives, expressing both site and the winemaker’s sensibility.
