Muse Vintage Wines is a Languedoc-Roussillon preservation and archival project focused on rare, historic Vin Doux Naturel from Rivesaltes, Maury, and Banyuls. Philippe Gayral, known as “L’Archiviste,” has spent more than 20 years sourcing, tasting, cataloging, authenticating, and bottling forgotten family vintages. He continues to acquire and release exceptionally old wines—sometimes 40, 50, or 100 years old—while working with regional authorities and the French government to verify their provenance. The project is dedicated to preserving the region’s historic sweet-wine heritage and bringing these distinctive, carefully documented bottles back to life.
