Le Ragnaie

Italy

Le Ragnaie is a family-run estate in Montalcino, Tuscany, owned and operated by Riccardo Campinoti and his wife Jennifer. Its vineyards are planted exclusively to Sangiovese across distinct Montalcino parcels, including high-altitude sites, with farming based on organic principles and no synthetic chemicals, relying instead on limited copper and sulfur, manure, and cover crops. In the cellar, Riccardo favors a traditional, low-intervention approach: careful grape selection, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete, long macerations, and aging in large neutral Slavonian oak. The estate also includes olive groves and an agriturismo.
