Krack Sekthaus

Germany

Family-owned Sekthaus Krack has been run by Anna and Christian Krack in Deidesheim, Pfalz, since 2015. Working with organically farmed, hand-tended vineyards, they follow low-intervention practices and use minimal sulfite. Their Sekt is made by traditional bottle fermentation, with careful manual work, extended lees aging and, for some wines, no dosage. First fermentation is predominantly in oak, while whole-cluster pressing, riddling and disgorgement form part of the detailed cellar process. The style emphasizes terroir, purity, vibrant fruit, low alcohol and freshness, reflecting the Kracks’ focus on nature, precision and traditionally made German sparkling wine.
