I Fabbri is a family-run estate in Lamole, in Chianti Classico, owned by the Grassi family since the 1600s and led since 2000 by sisters Susanna and Maddalena Grassi. Working on historic terraced vineyards at high elevation, they grow mainly Sangiovese alongside olives, with a strong focus on caring for the land. The estate is organically certified, follows biodynamic principles, and emphasizes low-impact farming, including manual harvests, mechanical weeding, indigenous yeasts, and spontaneous fermentations. Their wines are rooted in traditional Chianti Classico character, with an emphasis on elegance, sensitivity, and expressing the distinctive nature of each vineyard site and vintage.
