Bodega Gutiérrez Colosía is a family-owned sherry house in El Puerto de Santa María, Jerez, founded in 1838 and run by Juan Carlos Gutiérrez and Carmen, with the next generation also involved. Set at the mouth of the Guadalete River in the Bay of Cádiz, it is noted as the only winery in the area directly by the riverside, where Atlantic humidity helps the biological ageing of Fino under flor. The bodega works with albariza soils and follows the traditional criaderas y soleras system. Its historic cellars, built in the local “nave cathedral” style, are part of the estate’s distinctive identity. No specific sustainability certification is mentioned.
