Edetària is a family-owned, single-estate winery in the Gandesa valley of Terra Alta, Catalonia, founded in 2003 by agricultural engineer Joan Àngel Lliberia and run by the Lliberia family. Its certified-organic vineyards include old vines on limestone soils, with a focus on indigenous varieties such as Garnacha Blanca, Garnacha Peluda, Garnacha Roja and Carignan. Working with low yields, the estate produces limited-production wines under the Edetària and Edetana labels, expressing the Mediterranean terroir through purity, elegance, balance, complexity and aging potential.
