Garnatxa Blanca (White Grenache)Macabeu (Macabeo)
Terra Alta is a compelling home for Garnatxa Blanca, offering whites with substance, fresh edges and a distinctive inland Mediterranean setting.
Grenache Blanc.
Pear, citrus and herbs with a dry, rounded palate and a gently savoury finish.
Grenache.
Ripe red berries, plum and spice with warmth, freshness and rounded tannins.
Garnatxa Blanca is an essential starting point for Terra Alta DO, from fresh young wines to fuller expressions developed on lees or in wood. The same inland Mediterranean landscape also supports Garnatxa-based reds and other blends. Wind, elevation and varied vineyard exposures contribute to differences between sites. White wine is central to the region’s identity, but it does not tell the whole story. Read the grape and ageing details to choose between a brisk aperitif style and a more textured table wine.
