Family-owned in Guebwiller since 1810, Domaines Schlumberger remains 100% récoltant, with the estate still in Schlumberger family hands and run today by sixth- and seventh-generation members including Séverine, Alain, and Thomas Schlumberger. The domaine is defined by its steep hillside vineyards and four Grand Cru sites—Saering, Spiegel, Kessler, and Kitterlé—with a strong focus on terroir expression across the classic Alsace varieties. Sustainability is a clear priority: part of the estate is farmed biodynamically, Pinot Noir has been converted to organic farming, and the domaine emphasizes biodiversity, erosion control, and environmentally minded practices. In the cellar, century-old oak foudres sit alongside precise parcel selection and careful traceability, reflecting a blend of long family history and modern technique.
