Domaine de Rocheville

France

Domaine de Rocheville is a family-owned, independent estate in Parnay, in the heart of Saumur-Champigny in the Loire Valley. Founded in 2004 by Philippe Porché, it is run by Philippe with his wife Agnès and winegrower Jérôme Callet. The domaine is certified Terra Vitis since 2011 and organic since 2019, with an eco-responsible approach focused on manual harvests, low yields, mechanical soil work, natural grass cover, and measures to protect biodiversity such as hedges, rose bushes, and nesting boxes. Working mainly with Chenin and Cabernet Franc on tuffeau and clay-limestone soils, Rocheville produces Saumur Blanc, Saumur Rosé, Saumur Champigny, and Crémant de Loire. The wines are described as artisanal and shaped by a careful, terroir-focused philosophy.
