Contessa Giulia is a family-owned estate in Montalcino, in family hands since 1950 and now overseen by the newest generation, Gianluca Terzuoli, who is also the winemaker. The estate works its vineyards manually, with an emphasis on biodiversity management and a holistic farming approach. Its plantings include Sangiovese for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, alongside Merlot for Quarto Giro. These practices reflect a hands-on, family-led approach to farming and winemaking.
