Col Vetoraz is a family-run producer in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, in Veneto, founded in 1993 by Francesco Miotto with agronomist Paolo De Bortoli and winemaker Loris Dall’Acqua. The Miotto family has grown vines on the Cartizze hill since 1838, and the winery sits at nearly 400 metres on the highest point of the area, within the UNESCO-listed Valdobbiadene hills. It focuses exclusively on Valdobbiadene DOCG and Cartizze DOCG sparkling wines from 100% Glera grown on steep hillside sites. Notes emphasize hand harvest, separate vinification by vineyard, and wines made for harmony, balance and elegance, with no fining agents or clarifying treatments mentioned. No sustainability certification is reported.
