Château Les Grands Marechaux

France

Château Les Grands Marechaux is a modest-size Médoc estate acquired in 1997 by Etienne Barre and Christophe Reboul Salze, who also own Château Gigault and Château Belle Coline. Its approximately 21 hectares of clay, limestone and sandy soils are planted mainly to Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, and vines averaging 17 years old. Winemaking is led by Christophe Reboul, with vineyard and cellar guidance from consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt. The estate’s wines reflect a Merlot-led Bordeaux style shaped by its varied soils and hands-on ownership. No organic or biodynamic certification is mentioned.
